Hi, my name is Debora.

I started at Federated Insurance three years ago in a junior position in our Automated Rating department. I've enjoyed the role, working with a team of people to maintain our automated processing system, but I also have different ambitions. Thanks to the company's support, I was able to take Continuing Education courses that qualified me to move up into a completely different stream. Now I'm in Underwriting, where I'm working closely with our marketers and loss prevention teams to evaluate the properties we insure. Basically, the training philosophy and job diversity here at Federated Insurance helped me find the career path I wanted.

But all that doesn't mean a whole lot if you don't like the people you work with, and I love the people I work with. I've formed many great friendships, which only amplifies the fact that we have an excellent, creative working environment here. I'm privileged to work with a great mix of more experienced employees who I can learn from and employees who I can learn alongside.
